So many things to say, not enough time today.

This is important....

... Saturday, please!

My goodness its been a long 2 weeks! Working retail during back to school deserves a spa day of some sort! Although I LOVE my job, I am beat down. It doesn't help I've had some weird stomach bug all week. My day off tomorrow is going to be heavenly, even if all day I will be boxing up my life getting ready to move on Saturday. There is something about moving into a new apartment that I love. Not the moving boxes and the ridiculous amount of stuff I have that I am constantly trying to make room for, but its always a breath of fresh air. In my case, a much needed breath! I can't wait! Plus living with the bestie, Erika (who I hardly see anymore) and our cute friend, Sam, is going to be SO FUN! Just crossing my fingers that our fourth roommate, who we don't know yet, is not crazy or a hermit. Been there, done that!

With all that being said, this weekend is going to be lovely and hopefully sunny.
My lack of tan is getting pretty embarrassing.

Here are some picture updates from my hectic but wonderful past two weeks.

The boy and I met halfway and had a lovely picnic, met up with the bestie and her date, went to a Peter Brienholt concert and after went to The Pie (the most wonderful pizza place in Utah). To top the night off, there was a meteor shower and I love to wish on shooting stars! :)

My manager at work is getting married so we threw a little bridal shower for her! After, some of us adventured to her new apartment and while she fell asleep we wrote a creepy letter to her future brother-in-law who was sleeping in the next room. It's small so you can't really read what it says, so here it is...
"Dearest Clint, I was watching you sleep, you looked so peaceful. I wanted to lay my head on your firm pecks. The way the blankets wrapped around you made my heart skip a beat, breath taking. I'll never forget that wonderful night we spent together, last night... While you laid there and I just watched you. Forever yours/always watching -Justice"
Amazing.

A work friend, a cousin, the bestie, the boy and I all went 80's dancing. Never a dull moment there!
Oh and yes, Erika is short, but isn't as short as that picture makes her seem haha.
...

New song of the week= Lulliby by Regina Spektor
Worst movie of the week= It's a tie between The Time Travelers Wife & Fired Up (both were equally weird....UGH)
New favorite place to sit and play guitar= The new half built back porch my Dad is building on my house... pictures to come.

...

Enjoy the weekend!

Welcome to my world

You know how it goes, you work hard all day long and all your body want to do is go home and sleep. Maybe that's what your body wants, but you know you definitely would rather drive 45 minutes to spend even just an hour with that one person that makes you happier than all others.

Welcome to my world. Lets be honest, it is always worth it. I have yet to be disappointed in losing sleep and fighting to stay awake during the drive home after a great night out.

This past week was a busy one but a fun one! Working 12 hour days between 2 jobs, figuring out where I will live for fall, getting school stuff in order, trying to decide if I should sell my car, and attempting to find any time possible to spend with my man. Somehow there was time for a few wonderful adventures.

Double dates are always a good time! But they are even better when they include sculpting icecream, playing hide and seek in an empty house, then watching Hot Rod. So much fun!

My sweet boy & I found this crazy door after late night sushi and I saw it as a perfect photo op :)

Here are my favorites!

So this is love.

Happenings

The past weekend was so much better that I could possibly ever express here BUT I will attempt.

First, my dear friend Abbey finally got married to her lover (who she met and was engaged to all while I was away for a simple 10 week trip). I spent most of the time at the reception with the brides siblings, who are also such great friends of mine. Love them all! Congratulations Abbey & Andy!

Second, I randomly took a nap at 10PM that same night, so when I woke up at 2AM I felt I needed an adventure. I went to my parents house, found my brother Brian and his friend awake. We decided the best option for the greatest night ever was to take paparazzi photos then have the most delicious pancake party at my house. We were right, BEST IDEA EVER!

Third, the next night I drove an hour to see my wonderful man and rocked out in my car the whole way. Then when I got to his house we had the best conversation while laying in his hammock, enjoying the warm summer night breeze. Perfect. Then spent the best day with him and his family. :)

Fourth, my best friend came and stayed with me for a night. (She also lives an hour away). She is seriously the coolest girl ever! I can't even wait to live together, going to be the craziest time of our lives!

Fifth, a random kid I used to go to high school with told me to check out his new video. I was a little unsure of what to expect, then I saw this....

... and almost peed my pants from laughing so hard.

Sixth, I got to see my man again! We decided it was another hammock night, this time underneath a beautiful full moon and then we had the happiest conversation ever.

I have had a permi-smile since.
