School.

OH BOY
I was thinking
hey, just a few credits
easy


WRONG
very wrong

Somehow I am in for more work than I even
kind of guessed

And so it goes.

If you're looking for me
I dare to bet you will find me somewhere
Glued to a computer
Doing homework
Or attempting
to say the least



Side note: I have given much thought to life outside of work and school. That outside life basically consisting of my awesome best friends, my great family and the always confusing and frustrating man hunt. I do need my friends. They keep me young, keep me sane. I do need my family, they are my rock, my people, they are what makes me, me. I think I will keep them. As for that disastrous "Man Hunt" I've been on since birth, I am not giving up, but I am in no way attempting to keep the hunt up to date.


Dear Future Husband, I don't need you right now.
I'm okay without you to snuggle with, that's what body pillows are for.
I'm okay without you paying for my meals, I have a job for that.
I'm okay without you opening my doors, I've trained my brothers.
I'll find you eventually, but in the mean time, please learn to be a gentleman. So when we do meet and my body pillow is missing, my job isn't forking it out like it used to and my brothers are too busy to hang out with their big sister, you can finally be the one I need.

Puppy love

I am desperately trying to figure out why on earth today is so
CRAPPY

I don't enjoy complaining
BUT WOW
today was quite the day
Just one of those days that I could swear
the whole world is out to get me

Nothing is working out for school
(financial aid is a BEAST, but I'm not letting ANYTHING stop me)

can't get work off to take a summer trip this weekend
(road trip to Montana for concert and river rafting)

my super expensive eyelashes are all falling out
(painful to my eyes and my wallet)

I ran into that quirky half smile that I love so much
(that doesn't love me back)

and my best friend and I were called "Super slutty chicks" last night
when we ended up on a moonlight ride at the ski resort
on a girl date in coats, boots and snuggling in a blanket...
(because we've taken up the
"giving up on super douches"
gig for a whileand snuggling cause it was so cold!)


... So uncalled for, on all accounts.

On the bright side, it's sunny and happy outside and my dog let me pet him. :)

Let It Begin

It's starting to get cold outside. I enjoy jacket weather, but where did the summer go?
School begins in two days, and after four years, I think I'm about ready for it.
Everything in my life is headed in a good direction. The best part is that finally my future isn't based on a glimpse from my past.
Out with the old, in with the new, as another one bites the dust.
